Cooperation with distance education school in Germany

Experience with Distance learning in Latvian is very small. By God's guidance, we have an opportunity to learn from a distance learning school in Germany “BFU Theologische Fernschule", which already has nearly 40 years of experience in this area.

In April 2009 director of this school Helmut Hanser visited Latvia as well as the school's founder and supporter of RIBI Laurence J. Sutherland. They shared their experience of creating and managing distance education programs.

Already in June 2009 RSBI Distance Learning department coordinator had the opportunity to visit Worms, Germany and see the Distance Learning office in daily work.

Now we are regularly corresponding and exchanging experiences to provide the best possible quality of training for Latvia.

Who already use RSBI courses?

We have already established cooperation with organizations such as:

• Congregation "Blue Cross";
• Latvian Christian Student Fellowship (IFES Latvia);
• Prisoners in Latvian prisons;
• Prison chaplaincy in Siberia.
